Usually I avoid taking pictures of the "bad side" of my face, but I'm trying to get over it. You may notice I am almost always to Stuart's left to capture my good side. Hi Stuart
Hi, I came across your blog a while back and noticed you got your hair straightened in China. I am going to Shanghai and Beijing in a couple weeks and was wondering how much it cost you and if you are happy with the result. Sorry to intrude but I can't seem to find much info on it but I had a friend who got her hair done in Japan and really loved it.
I am very happy with the result - this time even more than the last 4 times. I think this time and the time I had it done in Taiwan were the best. The cost varies a lot depending on how nice the salon is and on top of that every salon will have 3 prices, which they say depends on the quality of the product and how badly it will damage your hair. I chose the middle price, it was about 260 RMB. Now I have to go to China once a year to keep straightening it, my hair is completely straight and I never have to blow dry it, it's really a miracle. Let me know if you have any more questions. By the way, if you don't speak Chinese it can be pretty scary getting your hair done, try to find a friend to translate!
Hey thanks for that info. Just what I needed to know. I do have friends that I will be meeting who can come with and translate...I can't wait! Thanks again!

so, I didn't know you had a bad side? Is this due to the freckle? I'm glad you're getting over it cause it's not bad at all silly!
