Singapore, part 2

We had a great weekend trip to Singapore. Thanks to our good friend Chris for showing us around!

When we arrived back in China, a man in a hazmat suit took everyone's temperature before we could deboard the plane.

Wow, Singapore! You guys are getting to do so many cool things!! Seriously, I think Ocean is starting to look a bit like your nephew Austin - some of the little smiles he makes seem very similar. So cute!!

I stayed in the Raffles Hotel in 1976. It was amazing. Had already joined the church so could not have a "Singapore Sling" in the bar there.Did help older missionary couple teach members to square dance for Pioneer day activity. So glad you got to go. Clean, beautiful city with great people.

Hi Brooke, Stuart, and Ocean! Looks like you are having an awesome time. I mailed you a card awhile back but it got returned, probably cause you're in Beijing now. Anyway, I was just thinking about you guys and remembering the good old days in Baltimore.

I was surfing for FSO blogs to keep me motivated (just passed the June '09 FSOT), and came across yours. It did the trick. Now I can get back to work on those essays...

I love that hotel.

I also love the look on Stuart's face as he walks behind the dudes in hooded bodysuits. What was that all about??

as always, Ocean is adorable, but uh...where's that baby's hair hiding?

;)

I can't believe how big Ocean is getting. Amazing.

We're jealous of the traveling you're doing. We'd read that preemies aren't supposed to fly until 9 months of age, so we'd been holding off flying -- even though our pediatrician had said it was fine. But we're getting a little cabin fever here in Venezuela, so we might just take after you and start exploring the region around us.

Hope the sleeping is improving!
